Is there a cost involved?
Self sustainability is one of PlanNET's values. This is to ensure that our existence does not depend on
government or other funding bodies and enables PlanNET to advocate on a person's behalf into the future.
Therefore a fee for service is charged.
Lifetime Membership
A one-off lifetime membership fee of $1000 is payable upon becoming a PlanNET member. This is not used for day to day costs but is set aside for the long term sustainability of PlanNET. There are various options for payment of this fee, so that no person is denied access to PlanNET because of it.
Facilitation Fees
Families are charged monthly for the facilitation of the network. The network facilitation and maintenance cost is $30.00 per hour plus GST. Each network is unique and the hours of facilitation vary according to the needs of the network. Generally it takes 8-10 hours per month for the first 3-6 months to create the network and 3-5 hours per month thereafter for maintenance of the network.
