About the NDIS

Resources and useful information about the National Disability Insurance Scheme

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding to eligible Australians with disability to access the supports and services they need to achieve their goals, build independence, and participate more fully in everyday life. Your NDIS funding is tailored to your individual needs and may include supports that help with daily living, therapy, assistive technology, community participation, employment, and more.

If your NDIS plan includes Plan Management funding, you can choose a Registered NDIS Plan Manager to handle the financial administration of your plan. Plan Management is funded separately under the Capacity Building – Choice & Control category, so it does not reduce the funding available for your other NDIS supports and services.

An NDIS Plan Manager pays your provider invoices, monitors your budgets, keeps track of your spending, and provides regular financial statements. Plan-managed participants can also access both registered and many non-registered NDIS providers, offering greater flexibility when selecting the supports that best suit their needs.

If you don’t currently have Plan Management included in your NDIS plan, you can request it during your planning meeting, reassessment, or plan review. Our experienced team is here to explain your options and help you make the most of your NDIS funding with reliable, hassle-free Plan Management.
